There are many options you can go for when it comes to audience participation games. If this is your first time putting together an event, here are some games you can go for to help give your audience a great time.

Poker

There is no harm in having some gambling in a corporate event. Poker can have plenty of benefits to your event, such as boosting concentration, helping with emotional maturity, enhancing observation skills, helping with decision-making, and teaching money management.

Poker is often a one-person show rather than a team-building exercise, but playing together creates a camaraderie atmosphere.

The goal is to have friendly competition with one another while also increasing individual skill sets. These will assist everyone with the future chores in the upcoming busy days.

All you need to do is to get in touch with your local poker table rentals and place your order. To ensure you get the best experience, ensure that the rental company you work with provides different poker games.

The rental company should also provide a dealer to help you play. As a rule of thumb, ensure that the dealer you are working with is experienced and knows what they are doing.

Live Trivia

If your event needs a boost of enthusiasm, consider using live trivia. It’s a terrific 10-20-minute activity that will shake things up and help you present content more enjoyably.

In this game, attendees launch the trivia game on their phones (which may be integrated into the event app or run independently). The Emcee then sends questions to attendees’ phones and the large screen.

After the question is closed, players will see if they answered correctly or incorrectly. The correct answer and how players replied is displayed on the big screen. You should declare the top players or teams on the Leaderboard as the champion.

If your audience is organically divided into groups, you can stage a team battle to determine which groups earn the most points. You should then rank the teams using the Leaderboard.

The last person standing.

Another approach is to use an elimination game or survivor trivia to determine who is the best. The purpose of this game is to increase the energy in the room while also recognizing awesomeness.

Players answer questions until they get one wrong, and they are out. This gaming style works because everyone believes they are smarter than the person beside them.

You can use the Leaderboard to show the number of players still in the game until you reach the last 10-20 people.

The Leaderboard then changes to reflect the names of the last players standing. The list will get shorter and shorter until you find a winner.

Players in the trivia game can answer several questions, make mistakes, and play again. However, In the elimination format, a player’s turn ends after one incorrect move.

Trivia bar

This format is excellent when you are looking to create a sponsorship benefit or an experience. You will drive traffic to the trade show floor and populate the trivia game with content from exhibitors. As a result, even if gamers do not visit all of the booths, they are exposed to the important marketing messages of the sponsors.

You need to set up a leaderboard on a huge monitor behind a 6-foot or horseshoe-shaped bar to play the game. Then, place several iPads on tabletop stands. A small crowd will build as players approach and begin playing the trivia game.

When you employ a trivia bar, you create an enjoyable physical area where participants may compete shoulder-to-shoulder. You also add a new sponsor advantage for exhibitors.

This game format works great at Customer Events, Sales Meetings, and Association Events. The objectives are to drive people to the trade show floor and educate attendees on sponsors’ content.

At the end of the event, you provide the sponsors with game metrics such as the number of players involved, the number of games played, the number of trivia questions about the sponsor answered, and so on.

First to the finish line

Instead of a typical points leaderboard, this style of trivia game uses images to illustrate players’ progress toward the finish line.

The images could include race cars, horses, or other vehicles rushing to the finish line. As players (or teams) properly answer the questions, their car (or another themed figure) advances.

The first player (or team) to reach the finish line is declared the winner.

You need an emcee or host to drive the game in this arrangement.

This game format is appealing for two reasons.

  • The game format is easily adaptable to your event’s theme.
  • It allows for the incorporation of team gameplay.

When choosing the Emcee, ensure they are experienced and have the know-how and enthusiasm to keep the game going.

Event gamification

In this game, the attendees gain points for completing challenges or participating in activities. The activities could be glancing at the agenda or commenting.

One advantage of this game style is that it allows you to leverage technology to create a series of tasks that can be accomplished in-app, on the trade show floor, or any other place.

Depending on the game platform, several reward and recognition systems may be in place, such as a spot on the Leaderboard, entry into a draw, etc.

This adaptability of this game allows you to create a game that functions exactly how you want it to.

Scavenger hunt

Scavenger hunts are typically photo-based team-building and collaboration games. Small parties are divided into teams and sent on an adventure to find a collection of artifacts or to accomplish a series of challenges. The idea is to get small groups chatting and collaborating, which builds a stronger team.

The digital version of these activities allows clients to relive the event’s highlights by displaying the different images.
